Van Cleef & Arpels opens its first boutique in Vienna, set to grace the city’s prestigious Kohlmarkt in spring 2024. Nestled within the historic heart of Vienna, renowned for its architectural grandeur, the boutique at Kohlmarkt 3 offers the perfect setting to discover its emblematic collections.

The carefully chosen location, close to the Vienna Opera House and the historic Hofburg Palace, is the ideal environment for understanding the unique style of Van Cleef & Arpels and its distinctive vision. Housed within a late 19th-century building boasting, the boutique pays tribute to the city’s rich history while embodying the Maison's signature blend of classical elegance and contemporary flair. 

The façade is adorned with black lacquered panels decorated with a vegetal pattern reminiscent of Vienna Secession’s iconic bay leaf. Echoing the techniques of 20th century Art Deco, the establishment embraces a new style with refined lines, discreet ornamentation, and an overall atmosphere of simplicity. The lobby, illuminated by a magnificent custom-made luxury chandelier crafted by Maison Veronese, sets the stage for the exploration of the Maison’s collections. Murano glass showcases, reflecting the graphic clarity of Art Deco lines, glisten with the Maison’s High Jewelry and watchmaking. 

French artist Martin Berger’s exclusive decorative panels, inspired by the Austrian landscapes, adorn the walls, infusing the space with harmony and tranquility. Signature materials and colors, such as the black and gold gradient and gold leaves, create a sense of continuity with Van Cleef & Arpels’ heritage, while innovative touches such as Spain’s Crema Marfil marble add a contemporary twist to this traditional aesthetic. 

Boasting around 400 m2 of space over two floors, the boutique offers, in addition to its display of jewelry and watches, spaces dedicated to private consultations. Visitors can enjoy the personalized service and attention to detail that Van Cleef & Arpels is renowned for.
